The services we provide include

Active meditation: Active Meditation is a tool which simultaneously extends itself to the mind, body, emotions and spirit of an individual by literally 'shaking up' the whole system in order to facilitate the discovery of inner silence. In our sometimes chaotic world it seems that inner silence can be a far off destination but by systematically releasing layers of thoughts and emotions which have clouded the silence, Active Meditation reveals to us that the silence does and has existed all along. Active Meditations take you out of your 'head' and allow you to be in charge in your life from a place of centeredness and groundedness.

Acupuncture: The painless application of hair-thin needles affects channels of energy allowing the body to balance itself and restore health. See FAQ’s for more information.

Biofeedback: A system evaluating the biological signals produced by the body, specifically biological functions (i.e. heart rate, breathing rate, skin temperature, etc.). These functions are monitored by surface electrodes (sensors) and electronically amplified to provide "feedback" to the patient.

BodyTalk: A safe, objective, and noninvasive system that addresses many health concerns. The practitioner facilitates communication with the body’s innate wisdom by using neuromuscular biofeedback. Then the body’s systems are resynchronized so that they can operate as nature intended.

Bowen Therapy: Gentle relaxing bodywork that is used by manipulating thumb and fingers in a rolling motion over muscles to release energy blocks.

Chakra Balancing: A traditional holistic healing process which helps us to reduce the effects of old injuries, stress and other physical, emotional and spiritual blockages.

Chinese Herbal Medicine: A complete health system that looks at the body as a balance between the opposite energies of yin and yang. Herbal therapy works very well in conjunction with acupuncture and amplifies the energetic rebalancing effect of acupuncture. See FAQ’s for more information.

Colour Therapy: By altering the colours which surround us, colour therapy proposes that we can alter our state of health.

Cosmetic Acupuncture: Involves the use of tiny needles inserted in various points on the face. This has the effect of stimulating the points, clearing energy blockages and increasing blood flow to the face and collagen production. Effective in getting rid of facial lines and preventing new ones from forming. Traditional Chinese Medicine is also beneficial in getting rid of baggy eyelids, dark circles around or underneath the eyes, dark skin patches, scars, flaccid muscles and other problem issues. The treatment brings oxygen and nutrients to the tissues, thereby helping to plump up the skin, smooth away wrinkles and dissolve lines of tension. At the cellular level this helps the skin to remove toxic waste effectively and thus maintain efficient rejuvenation of the cells.

Counseling: Here at Glow, we offer a variety of counseling options for mind, body, and spirit. Psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, lifestyle counseling, dietary and exercise counseling and spiritual counseling are some of therapies we provide.

Cranial Sacral Therapy: A gentle, noninvasive, hands-on manipulative technique based on observing and restoring balance in the rhythmic flow of spinal fluid through the skull and spine. Cranial Sacral Therapy may help many conditions as it can affect all aspects of the body by enhancing general health, reducing stress and improving brain and spinal cord function. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as chronic pain, scoliosis, coordination problems, post-operative care, sports injuries, depression, birth trauma, hyperactivity and hormonal imbalances.

Crystal Healing: Crystal Healing harnesses the healing vibrations of crystals and minerals to rebalance and harmonize the human body.

Cupping: Cupping involves the application of glass cups to specific areas of the body; this is achieved by holding a small flame inside the cup to create a vacuum. This causes the skin to be sucked up into the cup encouraging the flow of Qi and blood and clearing local stagnation. Cupping therapy stimulates the sensory nerves in the skin. It is a particularly useful therapy for the treatment of muscular aches and pains such as back ache, frozen shoulder and so on. It is also useful when one is attempting to ward off infection.

Deep Tissue Massage: Deep tissue massage works on the neuromuscular tissues to tune the body and mind. The process of digestion, chemical reactions in the cells, mental and physical work all produce waste and toxic materials, which accumulate in the tissues. These byproducts remain in the tissues and hamper further nourishment of cells. They can also contribute to spasms in the muscles and nerves. This treatment releases waste and toxic materials through deep tissue manipulation. This allows for the smooth function of the body and mind and the efficient working of the tissues themselves. It also eliminates spasm in the muscles and nerves to help alleviate chronic pain.

Detoxification Program: A combination of dietary therapy, acupuncture, massage, herbal and or nutritional supplements are recommended when one is ready to make lifestyle changes. This kind of support is necessary as when the body begins to release its load of stored toxins, one may experience many distressing symptoms. The program is individually tailored to best suit each client’s direct needs.

Ear Acupuncture: Extremely effective for the treatment of addictions, auricular acupuncture re-balances the body by stimulating areas of the ear that correspond to different parts of the body. The ear is a microcosm of the body and this treatment can at times enhance and prolong a regular acupuncture treatment when treating chronic conditions.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT): A psychotherapeutic tool based on a theory that negative emotions are caused by disturbances in the body's energy field and that tapping on the meridians while thinking of a negative emotion alters the body's energy field, restoring it to "balance." EFT can provide relief for many psychological and physical conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, general stress, addictions and phobias.

Energy Healing: works directly with the subtle energies of the body. The practitioner works with the body’s own tones and frequencies with hands both on and off the body. It addresses and rebalances the energetic patterns that affect physical and emotional health.

Hakomi: A body-centered, somatic psychotherapy. The body's structures and habitual patterns become a powerful doorway to unconscious core material, including the hidden core beliefs which shape our lives, relationships, and self-images. The Hakomi Method quickly accesses this core material, allowing it to emerge safely into consciousness. Once conscious, it can be re-evaluated, and where appropriate, powerfully transformed. New dimensions of awareness can be integrated, helping the individual to build a more satisfying and effective life. The Hakomi Method, developed by Ron Kurtz, is based on five therapeutic principles – Mindfulness, Organicity, Non-Violence, the Mind-Body Connection, and Unity.

There is basically no recovery time required after these injections. Clear gel hyaluronic acid injections pump up the skin, fill in wrinkles, and offer a youthful, refreshed and smooth complexion.

Homeopathy: Remedies derived from mineral, plants and animal sources that stimulate the body's own healing mechanism. Hypnotherapy is particularly useful in helping people to deal with stress and anxiety related conditions such as panic attacks, phobias, insomnia and other emotional problems like depression, lack of confidence and self esteem etc.

By using extremely small needles (4-6mm), these medications are injected directly into the unwanted fatty areas. With the use of a special injection device, many of the needle sticks are not even felt. Medications with specific properties are combined to treat localized fat and cellulite. The medications used in mesotherapy will not work alone. These medications must be used in combination to be effective. The basic functions of these medications are to open up the fat cells and liquefy the fat, while other medications assist in fat transportation to facilitate the natural excretion of unwanted fat from the body. Mesotherapy treatments are spaced-out every one to two weeks depending on the individual. The number of treatments depend on the size of the individual being treated, the number of body areas needing to be treated, and the severity of the problem.

Quantum Biofeedback/ Bioresonance Therapy: Quantum Biofeedback is a system, using the EPFX/QXCI machine which has been devised using the principles of Quantum Physics by Professor Bill Nelson, a former NASA scientist, physician, physicist and mathematician. Quantum Biofeedback scans the client's body looking for everything from viruses, deficiencies, weaknesses, allergies, abnormalities and food sensitivities. It reports on the biological reactivity and resonance in your body and indicates needs, dysfunctions and vulnerabilities. After measuring the body's frequencies, Quantum Biofeedback also feeds back its own frequencies to neutralize destructive wave patterns. In some cases it may add frequency, in others reverse it to either enhance or counteract the body's own resonances. In this way it works as a noninvasive and highly effective healing modality.
